Restaurant Review – Fraiche

We’ve been longing to visit Fraiche for a very long time now, and the minute we found out that Fraiche has brought back their breakfast buffet on weekends,  there was not a single doubt in our heads that Fraiche would definitely be our next review.
After all, What’s better than just having a couple of dishes for breakfast from what could possibly be one of the best cafes and bistros in Dubai? Its obvious isn’t it,  an all you can eat and drink breakfast buffet!
Located in the heart of Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Fraiche boasts a unique and cozy set up with a scenic views of the lake – Perfect for lazy Fridays and Saturdays!

Before we got to stuffing our faces, we ordered a pot of Tea and a Cappuccino. Elegantly served in a pot, the Tea didn’t disappoint and the Cappuccino was light, not too strong and provided a perfect kick start to the meal.

We started off with an order of Eggs Benedict and French Toast. Our serving of 2 perfectly cooked eggs topped with pastrami and their famous béarnaise sauce was simply divine. Perfectly cooked runny eggs makes us go weak in the knees and this Eggs Benedict surely did justice. The thick cuts of brioche served with strawberries and blueberries and a cornel of vanilla ice cream slathered with maple syrup was without a doubt our dish of the day.

After all that was said and done, we couldn’t leave without trying out one more dish. We ordered the Breakfast Surprise, and ironically it was a combination of the two dishes we had just ordered. Suffice to say that the sweet French toast paired with the pastrami and poached egg topped with béarnaise sauce was a match made in heaven. The sweetness of the brioche complemented the bearnaise sauce very well. Even though we were completely stuffed, we  just couldn’t seem to find the right moment to stop and put our forks down.

Fraiche is definitely a must visit café for all those who are looking for simple yet flavoursome food cooked with love, moreover we feel its one of the few best places in Dubai to escape the busy and bustling streets of Dubai for a relaxing and lovely experience.
