Restaurant Review – MO’s

So we at WhereMyFoodAt had the honor of being invited to the food bloggers meet and great at Mo’s. We’ve already reviewed this place once and had fallen in love with their food and service; we didn’t need to think twice before we said YES! Best part, they’ve updated their menu now so we had a bunch of new items to try out.

We started by ordering our drinks which were 2 freshly squeezed glasses of orange juice and quickly began scanning through the menu since we were starving!

For starters we ordered the Baked Beef Meatballs. Served beautifully, the meatballs were tender and surprisingly not heavy. The sauce was light, delicious and rounded off the dish well.

We ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad too. The peanut dressing complemented with the crunch of the nuts was a match made in heaven. All in all, a must try salad!

For mains we tried out the Barbecue Chicken Wrap and the TNT Shrimp Tacos. The tacos would most definitely have to be the dish of the day. They were served with condiments of guacamole, sour cream and salsa, but honestly you wouldn’t need any of it. The tacos on their own were melt-in-your-mouth delicious! They were not too heavy and packed with flavor; you just can’t stop at one.

The Barbeque Chicken Wrap came with a side of fries and onion rings. If you’ve already read our previous post on Mo’s you’ll know that their onion rings are probably the best in Dubai! So you could imagine our excitement on trying them out again. The roll had that perfect balance of barbeque sauce with a nice kick of vinegar, making you salivate with every bite. Beware, despite its petite delicious presentation, it is quiet filler!

Finally, with all this food we were so full, but the brownie was too tempting as we glanced through the dessert menu. We eventually caved and quickly ordered it.
Served in a deep plate, there it was, a giant slice of brownie, smothered in vanilla ice-cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Suddenly, we were starving again! The brownie was dense and rich and the ice-cream cut right through it. Perfect end to an extremely delicious meal.
Top tip: Desserts are 50% off on weekdays between 3 – 7pm

We’re so happy Mo’s had us there that weekend. The vibe and service couldn’t have been any better. We highly recommend trying out their breakfast menu too. Whatever you have, we can guarantee you won’t go displeased.
