Restaurant Review – TGI Fridays

We are a tad bit late on this post, but then again, better late than never! We had the privilege of being invited to TGI Fridays in Dubai Mall and attend an event hosted to introduce to us some of the 30 absolutely delicious new items in their menu. Being TGIF, It was obvious these dishes would live up to the expectations we all had in terms of quantity, and it definitely did!

For Appetizers we tried the Memphis BBQ Sliders which is barbecue braised beef, spicy horseradish and cheddar cheese sandwiched between two crisp waffle fries for Dhs39

We also tried the Balsamic Provolone Sticks which is wrapped balsamic onions, provolone and parmesan cheese, deep fried and sprinkled with parmesan. Served with horseradish dipping sauce and salad on the side for Dhs25
We tried the Buffalo Chicken Strips served with Bleu Cheese dressing and Celery Sticks for Dhs35

And lastly for starters we ordered the Southwest Tater Twisters which is Spiral sliced potatoes, deep fried and topped with spicy Queso cheese sauce, shredded Monterey Jack Cheese, fresh Pico De Gallo and generously drizzled with sour cream sauce for Dhs29.


Believe it or not, we did bother ordering a salad. And we were told that their Strawberry Fields Chicken Salad is a must have! We loved the balsamic marinade and pecan glaze over the strawberries. Very unique and very delicious! For Dhs49

For Mains we ordered the Crispy Fried Chicken Pasta which is crispy fried Cajun battered chicken strips served on top of fettuccine noodles tossed in a cream base sauce topped with beef bacon, diced tomatoes and parsley for Dhs55
We also tried the grilled butterfly jumbo shrimp scampi and salmon served in garlic and tomato scampi sauce for Dhs89

Ribs! Can never go wrong with them. Texas Spiced Beef Short Ribs blended with southern spices and drizzled with barbecue sauce for Dhs115

Finally desserts! To start off, we tried the Salted Caramel Cake. Moist salted caramel cake served with a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream and a cookie. Finished off with crumbled caramel and drizzled with hot butterscotch sauce for just Dhs29
Molten Chocolate Cake, an absolute classic! Moist fudgy dark chocolate cake with a creamy caramel center finished with pecans and drizzled with butterscotch and chocolate sauce for Dhs29
Sizzling Toffee Cake, doesn’t get any better than this. Toffee cake covered with crispy sugar coated pecans and vanilla ice cream floating over sizzling vanilla custard sauce and finished off with caramel sauce for Dhs29
This had to be the dish of the day, Oreo Madness. Giant oreo cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream drizzled with hot fudge for just Dhs29! Absolute must-try
