Restaurant Review – It’s Fussion

During the week, we decided to be a bit “adventurous” if you might say, and opted for an all vegetarian lunch date. We have been meaning to visit It’s Fusion for a very long time since we’ve heard a lot about it and finally decided to see what the fuss is all about.
Unless you’re a serious meat-lover, its Fusion does not make you craving non vegetarian. We’d like to think that it’s got to do with the flavors and varieties of dishes being spot on. The salad bar was healthy and fresh, with each salad having its own unique dressing and seasoning make us feel satisfied and guilt-free. What stood out however from the salad bar was the “Pesto Hummus” that got us addictive. We’ve never heard of a restaurant adding pesto to their hummus and we weren’t sure about how it would taste. Once we tucked into it though, we found it unbelievably delicious and couldn’t resist going for seconds (and thirds).
The mains at Its Fusion were pretty average, but what we enjoyed at this buffet were the Mexican and Pasta live counters. We indulged in delicious Tacos filled with lettuce, bean sauce, melted cheese, guacamole, sour cream and salsa, and we also sampled the Nachos which we absolutely loved. The nachos were crunchy, had loads of toppings and the melted cheese wrapped all the ingredients up perfectly. The best part of our buffet however was the pasta section where we got to play chef – pick the type of pasta, sauces and other accompaniments to go with the pasta and create something scrumptious!
Another element of this purely vegetarian buffet was a pizza menu where individual pizzas of your choice are freshly baked for you. Here again, we did not miss the meat. Overall we feel that its Fusion is a food haven for those vegetarians who struggle to find something to eat, however with an improvement in choice of desserts and mains, Its Fusion can definitely be popular among the non – vegetarians as well.
