Restaurant Review: Clinton Street Baking Company

Brunching at the Clinton Street Baking Company is always a good idea. It’s very rare for the kitchen to be free on a weekend during brunch. The entire restaurant is always buzzing, and somehow the full house doesn’t prove to falter the efficiency of service provided. If you are in Dubai and you haven’t brunched at Clinton Street already, you really are missing out on some typical New York inspired comfort food.
When Clinton Street was launched in New York, they set the benchmark for all restaurants that sell pancakes. For us personally, their pancakes are the best we’ve had. And to add to all out happiness, the entire February is dedicated to Pancakes!!
We started off with some delicious Egg Benedict with Pulled Beef and Egg Florentine with spinach and artichoke. They were served on deliciously moist buttermilk bread. The eggs were perfectly runny just how all eggs should be cooked, and so easy to devour.
It is also worth mentioning the coffee isn’t the best and could use an upgrade. On the other hand we’d definitely recommend trying their milkshakes, they are to-die-for!
Of course, our sole purpose was to indulge in the delicious pancakes since its Pancake Month. With each day dedicated to a particular pancake, we were lucky to be dining on the day when they served the pancakes with chocolate chunks, fresh raspberries and raspberry caramel sauce. They are hands down the fluffiest pancakes we’ve ever had, and the combination of chocolate and raspberries are splendid. We can’t wait to try the rest of the pancakes now!
