We want to start of this post by wishing our followers a very Blessed Ramadan Kareem. Being foodies ourselves, we cannot being to fathom the daunting task of refraining from food and water for majority of the day; and let’s face it, the heat isn’t helping either! According to us though (and we hope we’re right when we say this), the one motivational factor that helps you cruise through the Fast Hours is the thought of “Iftar”. We’ve been to our fare share of “Iftar Buffet Previews” for 2016 of which two places definitely stood out for us and we reckon you should try them!
#RamadanSawa at the Address Dubai Marina:
We had the most delightful Iftar Preview at the Constellation Ballroom that seats around 400 people in a stylish, authentic and gorgeous setting. Although the mesmerizing ambiance and set up of the ballroom will definitely blow you away, what amused us more was the array of food that looks absolutely delectable. The buffet serves a selection of favorites including Arabic and International cuisine. What did stand out for us was the Asian section, Sushi Section, Lebanese Section and best of all – Desserts!
Price: Dhs 210 per person inclusive of juices, tea and coffee
Ramadan at A.O.C. French Brasserie:
Located at the Sofitel Hotel Jumeriah Beach lies an Iftar buffer that’s worth every buck. Compared to the preview buffet we tasted at The Address, the spread at A.O.C. French Brasserie focuses on specialties from the region that include an impressive selection of mezze, tagines, our favorite – ouzi and middle eastern salads. Not only did the spread on our table look appetizing, but tasted delicious and seemed healthy too. Perfect for large groups with enormous appetites! PS: You also get the additional bonus of the Santoor player everyday of the week.
Price: Dhs 140 per person inclusive of juices, tea and coffee

Ramadan at Tesoro:
Tesoro, a Peruvian restaurant located at the Taj Dubai serves up an Iftar spread like no other. What we loved about our Iftar dinner (apart from the food) was the beautiful ambience adorned with a tree in the middle and dim lightings to set the tone of the restaurant (very romantic!). When it came to the food, we loved the variety that was offered for the price set. We started off with the salad section which was one of our favorites. We loved the Baba Ganoush, Beetroot Salad and Fattoush among all the other salads on display. Make sure to try their Lamb Ouzi that was cooked perfectly, served traditionally and tasted absolutely authentic.
Price: Dhs 195 inclusive of soft beverages
