It’s not just your ordinary burger joint. Blaze Burger of Bahrain combines beautifully crafted burgers, with premium quality meats and ingredients to give you a phenomenal burger experience. The joint is perfectly set in the middle of Jumeirah Beach Residence, and their venue well thought-out, with some funky artwork displayed on their walls, making it a very trendy place to sit, relax and enjoy a good meal!
Their menu is a four-step process:
Step 1: Choose your meat. It could be anything ranging from a back-to-basics ‘Old School Burger’ comprising tender double beef Angus patty, to a gourmet Wagyu Burger, to our favorite which is the 6ABOOGA burger (also known as the Brick Burger) which is two Angus beef patties between two grilled cheese sandwiches! A MUST TRY!
Step 2: Choose from over 12 of their deliciously handcrafted toppings, or you can customize your own as well. Our favorites were the Texas BBQ with Beef Bacon, Crispy Onion Rings, Mustard, Home-made Chipotle, Ketchup and American Cheese. We also loved the classic ‘Mushroom and Swiss’ with sauteed mushrooms, Emmental cheese, mayo and their homemade mushroom sauce. If you’re feeling a bit adventurous, then you can go for ‘Heaven and Hell’ comprising of arugula, lettuce, cheddar cheese, cool sour cream, and an extremely spicy Nuclear Mustard sauce that’s not for the faint-hearted.
Step 3: This one’s not too hard – you get to choose your bun. You can go for soft, whole wheat or lettuce wrap if you’re carb-conscious.
Step 4: A burger without its fries is complete. And at Blaze Burger, they take their fries very seriously! You get to choose your type of potato – scoopers, chips, french fries, or onion rings and add your toppings to it. We highly recommend the Angry Fries if you like heat with your starch. Comprising of melted cheese, spicy sauce, jalapeno and roasted peppers, this topping is definitely a WIN!
Of course, we give brownie points to Blaze Burger for creating a dessert menu that’s too good to resist. After all those burgers, we still managed to make some space for dessert and boy were we glad we did! Their Chocolate Sundae and Cookie Skillet were so good, we licked our plates clean! Make sure to try their Red Velvet and Cheesecake ‘DryShakes’ too – it’s just ice cream without milk – Ah! the joy!
